Bucket Augers

Bucket augers for geotechnical, hazardous site, or agricultural sampling. Auger systems consist of a bucket auger, available in a variety of diameters, extension rods, available in various lengths, and a cross handle, available in a variety of styles.

ASC Scientific offers the standard series components, for ordinary soil sampling, the new and improved AMS Signature Series components, for easier sampling, and all stainless steel components, for environmental low-contamination sampling.

Standard and stainless steel augers have 5/8"-11 threaded coupling for attachment to extensions and the cross handle. Signature Series Augers have "Quick Spin" threads for faster and more secure fastening.

Telescoping Auger

Designed to allow you to save time and money! The AMS Telescoping Auger is used for auger sampling to depths of six to eight feet. Comprised of a dual tube telescoping extension cross handle, locking pins and a single auger head. The Telescoping Auger is available in the most popular auger model sizes. Additional auger heads are available upon request. The Telescoping Auger is a very convenient tool at a very reasonable price.

The Telescoping Auger is only 5' 4" long when collapsed and 9' when fully extended. The extensions and cross handles are made from type 4130 chrome molybdenum steel. The auger has a stainless steel cylinder and heat-treated, carbon steel bits with tungsten carbide hard surfaces.
