 The BD-2014 is a portable trim saw that is similar in design to commercial tile saws.  The motor and blade are mounted above a sliding sample platform and the sample is manually pushed through the blade.  It  incorporates a cooling/flushing system with a removable plastic pan for ease of sludge removal. A recirculating pump directs water to both sides of the blade using tubes mounted inside the blade guard.  Water flow is controlled with a brass feed valve.

An optional Rock Vise (shown in photo) can be mounting on the sliding platform. The rock vise is adjustable to index or horizontally control the thickness of the material cut.
