The MS2H is a sub-surface probe, used in conjunction with the MS2 susceptibility meter, for profiling the magnetic susceptibility of strata in 25mm nominal diameter auger holes. The probe is assembled onto a 1m push rod and waterproof couplings allow further 1m extension tubes to be added to acheive any practical length. Strata with a thickness down to 15mm can be descriminated. |
