Introducing the PLANIX 10S, a new digitizing area-line meter with the features you need most. The PLANIX 10S combines the area measurements function of the popular PLANIX planimeters with the ability of a digitizer to measure straight lines by a simple two-point plot method and curved lines by continuous measurement.

Planix Electronic Planimeters

The TAMAYA PLANIX digital planimeters are very precise instruments for quick and accurate determination of areas on blueprints, maps, photographs, drawings, etc. By following the outline of the area with the tracer the revolution of the measuring wheel in either direction is sensed by an electronic encoder, interpreted by a custom microprocessor, and digitally displayed. Several models are available with a wide range of features to simplify any measuring task.

Planix 6

The Planix 6 is a Roller-type electronic planimeter. It can measure a rectangular area tha is 11 3/4" wide by an unlimited length and is ideal for measuring elongated areas. It come complete with AC charger, batteries, and carrying case, and have one year Sokkia warranty.

The Planix 6 has specifications similar to the Planix 5. It has an 8-digit readout and operates up to 30 continuous hours using a rechargeable NiCad battery. Its features include selectable English or Metric scales, multiple measurement averaging, display hold, accumulative measurement, and electronic zero reset. A battery power saving provision automatically turns off the instrument when left unoperated for more than three minutes. Accuracy is better than 0.2%.

Planix 7

The Planix 7 is an enhanced roller-type electronic planimeter. It offers all of the features of the Models 6, described above, plus display of areas directly in terms of cm², m², in², ft², or acres, plus provision for input of different X and Y scale factors. These expanded features can greatly simplify many measurement operations.
