The rugged and reliable Trimble® Ranger handheld is an ideal choice for your mobile workforce. And the productivity you will gain with a full alphanumeric keypad will save your company time and money.

Built-in Bluetooth® allows cable-free connection to other Bluetooth devices, including Trimble's GPS Pathfinder® series receivers, for on-the-spot positioning. With integrated wireless LAN capability, the Trimble Ranger handheld can connect seamlessly to a local network for easy and convenient data transfer. And if that doesn't give you enough options, two CompactFlash (CF) slots let you add supported GSM, or GPRS cards, for the ultimate in back-office connectivity.

Using the built-in wireless LAN and TrimPix technology, the Trimble Ranger handheld can connect to a range of WiFi-capable Nikon digital cameras for automated capture of digital images. Download the TrimPix technology software and you can take high resolution photos and easily link them to your GIS.

Because it runs the industry-standard Microsoft® Windows Mobile® version 5.0 software, your choice of field applications is virtually unlimited. And since Windows Mobile 5.0 provides persistent storage, your data and applications are secure, even in the event of power loss.

Much sturdier than a laptop or PDA, the Trimble Ranger handheld's sealed casing is dust, shock, and water-resistant, so you can keep working no matter what the weather throws at you. A powerful, long-life battery ensures all day field use.
