SUN COMPASS |
This instrument allows the determination of azimuths in locations where a magnetic compass cannot be used because of magnetic gradients and/or lack of line-of-sight to a geographic benchmark.

SUN COMPASS The standard sun compass, Model D-SC, consists of a 4 5/8" diameter disk with one-degree graduations mounted in a shallow plastic case. Case dimensions are 5 12" x 5 1/4" x 1 3/8" high.
